I think the question could be framed another way: Bush, being a gambling man, wagered big and lost on Iraq. So the stakes are higher with Iran - way higher. Is Bush one of those gamblers who, when the stakes are higher and the potential damages from losing so much greater, still tries to "get it all back" with such a reckless move? I actually don't think so, and I don't think his own party could quite stomach it this time around. Then again, he's surprised me before.
